Tony is the principal owner
and General Manager of
WVOV Radio. He began to
volunteer for the station in
January 1987. When the
station went up for sale in the
summer of 1987, he and a
group of friends put the
money together to buy it.
Tony continues to operate the
station on a day to day basis.
Tony was born in Smithfield,
North Carolina and is a
graduate of North Carolina
State University.
He has served most of the last thirty years as a Baptist pastor.
He is married and has three grown sons. He and his wife Kathy make their home in
Hampton, Virginia, though Tony spends most of his time in Danville with the
station.
